Six brands, six data challenges, two months
Guiding Erasmus University students in solving data challenges for six of our clients.
Many companies struggle with data science cases which are complex and time consuming to crack. That’s why we set up a challenge for a selected group of Master students Econometrics at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, to work for two months on six data cases for our clients: KLM, FrieslandCampina, Albert Heijn, Politie, Leprastichting and Gall&Gall.
All companies provided a research question and the data needed to answer this question. During the project the teams of students had weekly updates with their respective companies, to check whether they were answering the right question, and with NEWCRAFT, to check whether their solutions would be usable and feasible.
For the students it was a great opportunity to work on a real-life case, and the involved companies got new insights and solutions to implement in their daily business, and at the same time to recruit potential talent.
