As the leading retailer of alcoholic beverages in the Netherlands, Gall & Gall (subsidiary of Ahold Delhaize) faced new challenges as consumers increasingly orient and purchase their alcoholic beverages online. To meet these new customer needs, digital acceleration was required to complement their existing physical shops. With a combined team of experts from Ahold and NEWCRAFT, we swiftly moved from digital strategy to solid business results.
Our joint track towards online success contained many complexities which required an integrated approach. We worked at a fast pace in scrum teams to set up and improve all digital platforms, new propositions were developed; while we insourced media management and optimized logistic processes and online assortment. Through advanced analytics and a data-driven approach we were able to continually improve and adapt, which lead to growing results day by day.
Today, we are still cooperating on a daily basis to keep the strong online position Gall & Gall has gained and stay ahead of the competition.
